Why do you support MHAM?

“Improving the quality of life for those living with mental illness and mental health concerns is
critical to ensuring the overall wellness of our Michiana community. MHAM does just that by
eliminating stigma around mental illness, building collaborative partnerships, and improving
access to care for all, especially for those who have been historically marginalized.”

What are you looking forward to as a board member?

“I am excited to be a board member because I will be part of an incredible team dedicated to
strategically advancing the MHAM mission. Together, we will continue to provide meaningful
governance of MHAM’s current efforts while also working toward extending MHAM’s reach to
benefit those most in need of mental health support within our community.”

Anything else you would like to say about yourself?

“Three years ago, my wife and I were excited to have found our new home in South Bend after
serving a combined 53 years as Navy officers in healthcare delivery around the globe. We are
thrilled to be part of a vibrant community that genuinely cares for all its citizens and to be
involved in organizations like MHAM that work daily to improve the overall health and wellness
of all our neighbors across Michiana.”

Thank you, Tim, for bringing your considerable insight and experience to MHAM!
