We are pleased to announce
Leadership South Bend Mishawaka Project Team: Santana Bozman, Molly Kelly, Jeff Zwart, Tim Swagger, Dallas Dreher, and Gabe Torek as the
March, 2022 MHAM Volunteer of the Month!
Mental Health Awareness of Michiana is committed to eliminating stigma around mental illness and mental health concerns through educational programming and community events. Leadership South Bend Mishawaka partnered with MHAM to present the “Feel Reels: Smashing the Stigma Film Festival” on March 20 at the St. Joseph County Public Library. We honor the Leadership South Bend Mishawaka team as our March Volunteer of the Month for their work on this inaugural event.
Leadership South Bend Mishawaka creates community leaders through civic leadership development. The program connects Leadership program participants with service opportunities within the regional community out of the belief that a connected community shapes our future into something better for everyone.
The Leadership project team working with MHAM were: Santana Bozman, Molly Kelly, Jeff Zwart, Tim Swagger, Dallas Dreher, and Gabe Torek. The goal of the Film Festival was to host an event that highlights mental health issues overall, offers the community a way of accessing organizations/resources available to them, and raises awareness of MHAM.
“Collaboration and partnership are extremely important in raising awareness and talking about issues that mean something to us. We are so proud to partner with MHAM on this inaugural event and promote mental health in the Michiana community.” Dallas Dreher
We thank the Leadership South Bend Mishawaka team for their commitment to volunteering and to eliminating stigma!
