This presentation will provide clinicians with the foundational knowledge they need to assess, diagnose, and identify the proper level of care for an individual battling an eating disorder. They will also learn about how to apply this knowledge within marginalized communities and other communities that the eating disorder community at large has historically overlooked.

Learning Objectives:

After completing this training clinicians will be able to:

1) Identify the diagnostic criteria for Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, and Avoidant Restrictive Food Intake Disorder

2.) Identify the etiology, epidemiology, and signs and symptoms of eating disorders

3.) Explore treatment methods, levels of care, and challenges for recovery.
