Description:
Attendees are invited to participate in the event by offering alternative, culturally-sensitive responses during planned pauses in the in-vivo session.
Learning Objectives:
1. Learn how to repair a therapeutic alliance after a cultural misstep
2. Understand cultural differences in body language and tone of voice, and how that impacts the therapeutic experience
3. Recognize that competency in multicultural counseling is ever-changing, and there is a need to adapt to different individuals within the same system.
