MHAM\u2019s Volunteer Highlight for June \u2013 <\/span>our May Family Fun and Wellness Fair Volunteers<\/b><\/span> \u2013 are essential for the success of our annual <\/span>Family Fun and Wellness Fair<\/b><\/a><\/span> held each May during Mental Health Awareness Month<\/strong><\/span><\/a>. With their community knowledge and desire to help others, their dedication to ensuring a great experience for the Michiana community cannot be understated. \u201cAs the MHAM Events Coordinator, I can say with absolute certainty that our Family Fun Fair simply wouldn\u2019t be possible without the dedication of our volunteers. Their time, energy, and compassion create a welcoming space where families feel seen, supported, and connected. Every smile, every helping hand, every small act of kindness makes a lasting impact – and reminds us that community is at the heart of mental wellness in Michiana!\u201d<\/span><\/em><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Volunteer Errin Dokes tells us what she enjoys about volunteering with MHAM:<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cI volunteered last year because Jan is a great leader and asked me to support. This year I came back to help because I understood the mission of MHAM and what a great opportunity our community has to access their services. It was great volunteering at the registration table, meeting new people of all backgrounds, races, and genders and providing free items and access to many resources in our community. I will absolutely participate again if given the opportunity!\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/span><\/p><\/blockquote>\n
