{"id":3416,"date":"2024-04-12T21:46:32","date_gmt":"2024-04-12T21:46:32","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mhamichiana.org\/?p=3416"},"modified":"2024-05-04T15:56:30","modified_gmt":"2024-05-04T15:56:30","slug":"april-2024-volunteer-of-the-month","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mhamichiana.org\/es\/april-2024-volunteer-of-the-month\/","title":{"rendered":"April 2024, Volunteer of the Month"},"content":{"rendered":"<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\"><em><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">April 2024<\/span><\/em><\/h3>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>We are pleased to announce <\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Jennifer Grubbs, LCSW<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>as the Mental Health Awareness of Michiana (MHAM)<\/strong><\/h1>\n<h1 style=\"text-align: center;\"><strong>Volunteer of the Month!<\/strong><\/h1>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">MHAM&#8217;s volunteer of the month, Jennifer Grubbs, LCSW, has been volunteering with the <a href=\"https:\/\/mhamichiana.org\/es\/pro-bono-counseling-project\/\">Asesoramiento Gratuito<\/a> since September 2023!<\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">As she was starting out in her own private practice, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.prunedtogrow.com\">Pruned to Grow Counseling Services LLC<\/a>,\u00a0 she wanted to meet other clinicians in the area and connect with clients who have limited access to resources.<\/p>\n<blockquote>\n<p style=\"text-align: center;\">When asked why the PBCP has been impactful to her, she stated, &#8220;I believe in the reap what you sow concept, so I knew that by building a practice on giving, I would be able to grow as a valuable resource in our area. I have been able to meet and reconnect with some wonderful clinicians, gain a lot of useful knowledge through the education opportunities offered, and I have been able to give back to our community in a small way. As a practice that incorporates Christian faith into the mental health space, generosity is a core value that I hold. I want everyone I work with to know and feel valued. I consider it an honor and privilege to be able to share my time with those who access the resources from the PBCP.&#8221;<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n<h3 style=\"text-align: center;\">Jennifer says, &#8220;Definitely join!
