Nos complace anunciar Keilah Hamood<\/strong> y Asesoramiento sobre la libertad<\/strong> <\/span><\/p>\n

como la Concientizaci\u00f3n sobre la Salud Mental de Michiana (MHAM) <\/span><\/p>\n

\u00a1Voluntario del mes!\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Keilah se ha ofrecido como voluntaria con la Asesoramiento Gratuito<\/a> (PBCP) durante aproximadamente dos a\u00f1os. <\/span>\u201cSoy voluntario porque creo firmemente en la importancia de brindar terapia al mayor n\u00famero posible de personas y poblaciones. Todos merecen tener acceso a estos servicios. Si bien soy propietario de una agencia con fines de lucro, nuestra participaci\u00f3n en la PBCP es nuestra manera de contribuir a la comunidad.\u201d <\/span>-Keilah Hamood<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEl compromiso de Keilah con el PBCP, no solo a trav\u00e9s de su propio servicio como voluntaria, sino tambi\u00e9n facilitando la participaci\u00f3n de los profesionales cl\u00ednicos en su consultorio, demuestra lo que es posible cuando trabajamos juntos para generar un cambio.\u201d\u00a0 <\/span>Linda Raven, Coordinadora del PBCP. El PBCP, lanzado por MHAM en 2020, mejora el acceso a la atenci\u00f3n de salud mental para aquellas personas de la comunidad que, de otro modo, tendr\u00edan un acceso limitado debido a la falta de seguro m\u00e9dico o a una cobertura insuficiente.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n

Keilah es la due\u00f1a de Asesoramiento sobre la libertad<\/a>, Freedom Counseling es un centro inclusivo compuesto por siete terapeutas especializados en terapia individual, familiar y de pareja. Tienen sedes en Elkhart y South Bend. Atienden a ni\u00f1os mayores de 5 a\u00f1os, adolescentes y adultos, personas con discapacidades del desarrollo y TEA, adicciones, trastornos alimentarios, TOC, depresi\u00f3n mayor, ansiedad, TEPT agudo y cr\u00f3nico, personas LGBTQ+ y disforia de g\u00e9nero, violencia dom\u00e9stica y traumas religiosos. Freedom Counseling acepta diversos seguros m\u00e9dicos, incluyendo algunos planes de Medicaid.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cKeilah y Freedom Counseling son unos colaboradores excepcionales del Proyecto de Asesoramiento Pro Bono. El impacto que Keilah, su equipo, los pasantes de maestr\u00eda y los nuevos empleados de su consultorio est\u00e1n teniendo en la comunidad a trav\u00e9s del voluntariado con el PBCP es incre\u00edble\u2019, afirma Lisa Kelly, directora ejecutiva de MHAM.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cEsto es muy importante para m\u00ed porque es importante para la comunidad. Me encanta la colaboraci\u00f3n, la educaci\u00f3n y ayudar a unir fuerzas para crear la mejor comunidad posible.
