Paul es un terapeuta voluntario del Proyecto de Asesoramiento Pro Bono (PBCP) de MHAM. El PBCP conecta a personas, parejas y familias sin seguro m\u00e9dico, con cobertura insuficiente o que no pueden costear el tratamiento de salud mental, con un terapeuta voluntario, licenciado y asegurado. Los terapeutas voluntarios ofrecen terapia breve sin costo alguno para el cliente.<\/p>\n

Paul participa en el programa PBCP desde su inicio como piloto en 2021. Para Paul, dedicar su tiempo como voluntario para ayudar a otros a trav\u00e9s del PBCP le ayuda a sentirse realizado y a percibir que est\u00e1 teniendo un impacto directo en la mejora de la calidad de vida de sus clientes.<\/p>\n

Paul cuenta con m\u00e1s de seis a\u00f1os de experiencia trabajando con personas con problemas de salud mental y conductual. Utiliza la terapia cognitivo-conductual y enfoques basados en la atenci\u00f3n plena para ayudar a las personas a alcanzar sus objetivos. Le apasiona trabajar con adolescentes, adultos j\u00f3venes y personas con trastornos por consumo de sustancias. Ha trabajado con personas en servicios de internamiento, servicios comunitarios y centros penitenciarios, entre otros.<\/p>\n

Paul est\u00e1 casado y tiene dos perros. Es oriundo de South Bend y un apasionado coleccionista de plantas tropicales. Junto con su socio, abri\u00f3 una tienda de jardiner\u00eda, The Botany Shop, en 2021. A Paul le encanta conectar a la gente con las plantas.<\/p>\n
