El PBCP conecta a personas, parejas y familias sin seguro m\u00e9dico, con cobertura insuficiente o que no pueden costear el tratamiento de salud mental, con un terapeuta voluntario, licenciado y asegurado. Los terapeutas voluntarios ofrecen terapia breve sin costo alguno para el cliente.<\/p>\n<p>Jean est\u00e1 comprometida con la reducci\u00f3n de las barreras al acceso a la atenci\u00f3n de salud mental y con la creaci\u00f3n de una comunidad m\u00e1s sana. \u201cMe encanta poder contribuir a una comunidad m\u00e1s sana (\u00a1eso nos beneficia a todos!) mediante el voluntariado. El PBCP proporciona el apoyo que los profesionales cl\u00ednicos necesitan al identificar a los pacientes que lo necesitan y ponerlos en contacto con el voluntario adecuado. Adem\u00e1s, apoyan al voluntario cuando surgen necesidades especiales. Eso es lo que me faltaba antes: pasaba horas buscando recursos\u2026 el PBCP tiene acceso a los recursos y te conecta con ellos cuando los necesitas\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>Jean se licenci\u00f3 en Hanover College y obtuvo su m\u00e1ster en Trabajo Social en la Universidad de Indiana, en una \u00e9poca en la que este m\u00e1ster solo se impart\u00eda en el campus de Indian\u00e1polis. Jean tiene formaci\u00f3n en Mindfulness, EMDR y formaci\u00f3n avanzada en Terapia Gestalt. Le encanta trabajar con una amplia variedad de clientes. Su trabajo se centra principalmente en adultos, a trav\u00e9s de terapia individual, de pareja y familiar.<\/p>\n<p>Jean es originaria de Indian\u00e1polis. Ejerce la medicina de forma privada desde 1990 y reside en la zona de South Bend desde 1997. Jean tiene dos hijos adultos, un hijastro y tres preciosos nietos con quienes pasa todos los viernes jugando, riendo y disfrutando.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNuestros voluntarios tienen un impacto muy positivo en la comunidad de Michiana.
