2025 MHAM Cake Festival: Cake in the Park<\/em><\/span><\/h2>\n

Support mental health in Michiana\u2014one slice at a time!<\/strong><\/span><\/h3>\n

Mental Health Awareness of Michiana (MHAM) invites you to an afternoon of sweetness, community, and purpose at our <\/span>Cake in the Park<\/b><\/span> fundraiser, emceed by local celebrity <\/span><\/span>Kim<\/span> Becker<\/b><\/a><\/span>! This exciting new event blends the joy of cake with a meaningful mission \u2013 to increase visibility and support for mental health across Michiana.<\/span><\/p>\n

What is Cake in the Park?<\/span><\/strong><\/h4>\n

Part community celebration, part bake-off, and 100% delicious, <\/span>Cake in the Park<\/b><\/span> is MHAM\u2019s new summer fundraiser. Participants bring their most beloved cakes \u2013 homemade or bakery-crafted \u2013 and attendees get to sample, vote, and enjoy them in a festival atmosphere at <\/span>Howard Park Event Center<\/b><\/a><\/span>.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Whether you\u2019re a professional pastry chef or a home baker with a secret family recipe, there\u2019s a place for your cake at the table.<\/span><\/p>\n

How It Works<\/span><\/h4>\n

  1. Bakers<\/b> (both home and professional) register in advance and bring their cakes to Howard Park at <\/span>1:30 p.m.<\/b> on the day of the event<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  2. Cakes are beautifully displayed, with photos taken for fun and future bragging rights!<\/span><\/li>\n
  3. When the doors open at 2:00 p.m., <\/span>ticketed guests<\/b> will have the opportunity to admire all the cakes and participate in a \u201cpeople\u2019s choice\u201d award for \u201cmost attractive cakes\u201d.<\/span><\/span><\/li>\n
  4. Guests receive a plate for sampling and a pastry box to take home some of the festival\u2019s finest slices.<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    Participants get to enjoy cake tastings and take-home treats, all while supporting MHAM\u2019s mission of eliminating stigma and removing barriers to mental health care.<\/span><\/p>\n
