La Dra. Nicoletti hablar\u00e1 sobre c\u00f3mo las experiencias adversas contextualizadas de la infancia de los j\u00f3venes negros pueden contribuir a conductas suicidas y otros comportamientos de riesgo. Identificar\u00e1 herramientas de evaluaci\u00f3n y tratamientos basados en la evidencia que se sabe que previenen y tratan los comportamientos de riesgo en los j\u00f3venes, particularmente en aquellos de comunidades urbanas negras.<\/p>\n

1. Contextualizar las experiencias de los j\u00f3venes negros en riesgo de suicidio.<\/p>\n

2. Identificar herramientas de evaluaci\u00f3n para conductas suicidas en j\u00f3venes.<\/p>\n

3. Explorar tratamientos basados en la evidencia para j\u00f3venes en riesgo de conductas suicidas.<\/p>\n

Biograf\u00eda del ponente<\/strong><\/h2>\n

La Dra. Taylor Nicoletti es psic\u00f3loga cl\u00ednica licenciada y profesora cl\u00ednica adjunta en el Departamento de Psicolog\u00eda de la Universidad de Notre Dame. Sus \u00e1reas de inter\u00e9s son los servicios cl\u00ednicos basados en las fortalezas y con enfoque en el trauma para ni\u00f1os y familias afroamericanos en entornos urbanos de bajos ingresos. La Dra. Nicoletti brinda capacitaci\u00f3n y supervisi\u00f3n cl\u00ednica a estudiantes de doctorado de Notre Dame en la aplicaci\u00f3n de evaluaciones e intervenciones con respaldo emp\u00edrico para ni\u00f1os, adolescentes y familias. Adem\u00e1s, participa en la Iniciativa de Prevenci\u00f3n del Suicidio: Investigaci\u00f3n, Intervenci\u00f3n y Capacitaci\u00f3n (SPIRIT), donde ofrece servicios cl\u00ednicos, capacitaci\u00f3n y actividades de participaci\u00f3n comunitaria para abordar la conducta suicida en ni\u00f1os y adolescentes.<\/em><\/p>\n

La Dra. Nicoletti cuenta con experiencia en la prestaci\u00f3n de servicios cl\u00ednicos de consulta y enlace en entornos de salud pedi\u00e1trica y trabaja para promover la atenci\u00f3n informada sobre el trauma en sistemas de salud m\u00e1s amplios. Sus intereses de investigaci\u00f3n incluyen la participaci\u00f3n en el tratamiento de familias afroamericanas, la atenci\u00f3n informada sobre el trauma y los determinantes sociales de la salud. La Dra. Nicoletti est\u00e1 particularmente interesada en la combinaci\u00f3n de la pr\u00e1ctica cl\u00ednica y la investigaci\u00f3n, la docencia y la capacitaci\u00f3n, con un enfoque en la atenci\u00f3n poblacional, la prevenci\u00f3n y la promoci\u00f3n de la salud de ni\u00f1os y familias hist\u00f3ricamente marginados.
