Meghan es una l\u00edder en la comunidad transg\u00e9nero, tanto a nivel regional como nacional. Ha sido reconocida por su labor, primero en 2015 con el premio Trans100 y, m\u00e1s recientemente, en 2022, por la organizaci\u00f3n de exalumnos LGBTQ+ de Notre Dame, ARCND. Regularmente presenta ponencias en conferencias y campus universitarios sobre temas relacionados con la comunidad transg\u00e9nero, incluyendo atenci\u00f3n m\u00e9dica, servicios comunitarios e inclusi\u00f3n laboral.
