Meghan is a leader in the transgender community, regionally and nationally. She has been recognized for her work first in 2015 as a recipient of a Trans100 Award and, most recently, in 2022, by the Notre Dame LGBTQ+ Alumni organization, ARCND. She regularly presents at conferences and on college campuses on topics related to the transgender community, including health care, community services, and workplace inclusion. In addition to leading her organization, she works as a public school teacher in the South Bend Public Schools. Meghan has also served her community as a member of community boards and committees. Across the country, she serves as a mentor to transgender youth and families.
